I remember Clear ; Collar Bone

In Elementary school,
I had a crush on a girl for 3 years.
She left one day
And never came back.

I never said a word to her.
Because I am very careful
At how I choose my words.

I see her again,
And she tells me that
She's sure that I don't remember her.

But I remember clear.
That ponytail that lingered,
On the side of her collar bone.

Of every silly & embarrassing moment we have had,
And laugh over them like no one’s watching.

Even if we had an argument.

We simply looked at each other,
And knew what the other was thinking.

Hell, we may go weeks
Without even seeing the other’s face.

Each time you try drawing a sharp line,

Between your soul and your heart.

Numbness creeps through your skin.

Eyes, burn from deep within.

Lungs stifle.

Lips murmur "You Owe"

Skin, try to aerate.

Nerves, tremble with rancor.

Cells burn in elation.

You die deep within !!
